Short Description: 3D modeling can benefit the research of historians, art historians, and other scholars of material culture. Profs. Bent and Taylor-Poleskey will briefly introduce ways that they have used 3D modeling to enhance their teaching and research and then we will take out our cell phones to walk through the basics and provide an overview of the software options.
